The Boardroom in the Hospital

Posted by on January 26, 2016notice at 2:00 am

Recently a friend came across an important prayer for the Boardroom if we need to go to the hospital.

Notes taken from Your spirit and Surgery by Arthur Burk

God’s Kingdom laws apply where ever we are. Because we are paying for the space at the hospital, the people involved, the surgeons, equipment and the whole procedure, this gives us the rights in His name to pray the following:

We call attention to the demonic over the hospital before we go there.

Total Wholeness asks “Where is your Holy Spirit Space”?

Posted by on September 27, 2014 at 8:04 am

girl at computerThe purpose of this exercise is to help you to be more aware of God’s presence in your world. Collect 2 pieces of paper and 4 drawing pens or textas, of the colours you like. It is important that you have a sense of privacy where you are.

Follow the steps as listed to find your ‘Holy Spirit Space’ and what your Creator is saying to you. We are inviting the Lord to talk to you about your spirit and where He sees you on your journey. We list the process so when you are ready, begin and LISTEN to hear His voice. Take your time and work slowly through this exercise.

An Example of using the Boardroom for Total Wholeness

Posted by on April 27, 2013 at 2:41 am

In the process of Mentoring people, I often come across a very interesting example when using the Boardroom concept is the answer!

Recently one person shared her story: Nicky came with with feelings of “….just being too tired to care anymore…”.  She  had a great job so her mind was still actively involved in planning, sorting and getting her responsibilities on top of things in her office….but when she went home, she feel in a heap.  She didn’t even have the energy to add new light bulbs!

4/16 Summary of our series on the Human Spirit and Total Wholeness

Posted by on May 17, 2012 at 4:56 ampodcast

Welcome back to our Summary on the Human Spirit.  Hopefully so far you have some idea of what we have been sharing on ‘The Boardroom’ and what we mean by the concept.  Our whole personality – all 7 parts of us – function together in some way, either in random, independent chaos or with some kind of order and harmony.

Learning what’s going on in the inside is part of the journey to finding this harmony.  This has been the whole purpose of this blog – to gain Total Wholeness by finding a sense of all of our ‘parts’.

4/14 Guest post – Some thoughts on the Human Spirit

Posted by on May 4, 2012 at 6:05 am

Recently we received a post from a reader called ‘Some random Thoughts about the Human Spirit’ and I thought you might like to hear from this reader.

*******

Hello Susanne, I wanted to respond to your series on the Human Spirit with some thought of my own.  I value your input into my own thinking and research on this topic.  So ……

1.  There is the passage in Hebrews 4:12 which says the Word of God is so sharp that it can even separate soul from spirit. This implies two things. First, they are definitely different, and second, it is very difficult to completely separate the two by mere definition.

Two Interesting Books on the Condition of your Spirit

Posted by on April 30, 2012 at 6:23 amtools

In this series, we have been examining the influence, condition and purpose for your personal spirit.  Since the real you is a spirit, we really need to pay attention to what is your spirit and how you were shaped to be the individual you are.

The best known researchers and authors in the area of the human spirit are John and Paula Sandford.  Their years of study and ministry give them a unique perspective in this important topic.

Two of their best known books are ‘Healing the Wounded Spirit’, Victoria House, Tulsa, Ok, 1985 and ‘Waking the Slumbering Spirit’, Clear Streams, Inc Publishing, 2002.  Another helpful book is ‘The Transformation of the Inner Man’.

Posted by on April 12, 2012 at 1:01 am

Welcome back to our discussion on our Human Spirit!  So far in our journey, we have talked about what our Human Spirit is and what is it NOT.  We have seen that our spirit has definite purposes, given by our Creator.  The main purpose is our connection and worship ….to Him!

However we also saw that this part of our personality, the real YOU, can be in many different conditions of health and awareness.  In our next post, we shall see how our spirit connects and is meant to guide the other parts of our ‘Boardroom’, our personality.
